Applications open for International Special Projects

The application process to apply for an International Special Projects Grant is now open. 

International Special Projects (ISP) was created by HRH The Earl of Wessex with the aim of extending The Duke of Edinburgh's International Award to more young people across the globe, in particular, those considered to be at risk or marginalised in society.

ISP allows the Award to truly engage with young people at all levels of society and provides opportunities with long-term, sustainable impact.

The projects funded are between £1,000 and £5,000 and focus on the following three categories:

  • Direct action
  • Programme expansion
  • Communications

Apply for a grant

Grants are only available to National Award Authorities (NAAs) and not to Independent Award Centres (IACs) To apply for a grant, download an application form and return it to your regional office by Friday August 16. Further information on the grants can be found in the application notes
