Global business team

The Global Business Team works with schools and organisations across the globe to help them to deliver The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award.

The team licenses and provides resources, guidance and training to Independent Award Centres (IACs) and International Trained Activity Providers (ITAPs).

IACs are schools or organisations licensed to operate the Award exclusively to their students or members, where no National Award Operator exists or where a National Award Operator exists but there are difficulties in supporting delivery due to certain circumstances, such as the Award being delivered only in the native language of the country.

ITAPs are organisations that are licensed to provide activities that enable participants to complete the Adventurous Journey section and/or the Residential Project section of the Award.

There are currently over 350 IACs and 30 ITAPs globally.

If you are interested in delivering the Award in your organisation or offering Adventurous Journeys to IACs please contact the team at gbt@intaward.org
