Independent Operators (IOs)
An Independent Operator (IO) is a unit which runs the Award Programme under a licence from the International Secretariat, usually in a country where no National Award Authority exists.
There are currently more than 200 IOs in over 60 countries around the world. They are frequently international schools, but any agency working with young people can become an IO.
